We want to send a HUGE congratulations to one of our very loved board members at Stratford Youth Athletics, for graduating with a hard earned 4.0 today from Clemson University. What a great accomplishment. We are so proud of you Casey Stradcutter. Thank you for your dedication to the program and still being able to graduate with such honors.

Stratford showed UP today 💪🖤❤️ From youth to high school, we showed the heart of Stratford. 🖤❤️

Stratford Youth Football & Cheer and Stratford High Football & Cheer took over the Goose Creek Parade, bringing out hundreds of our athletes to represent what this program is all about—community, family, and pride. From our youngest players to our high school leaders, this is what it looks like when a town comes together. Once a Knight, always a Knight.

Stratford Youth Cheer Banquet was truly a great night! Family, fun and food is what it’s about

So grateful for our athletes, our coaches, and all the families who show up and support us. Celebrating this season together made every long practice, game day, and competition moment worth it.

We celebrated our Comp teams, all of our cheerleaders received gifts, we awarded 8U with this seasons Community giving award, and gave out our 2025 Coach of the year award to our 10u-2 Coach, Coach Nikki Woods. Congratulations Coach! 🎉👏

Thank you to every parent, coach, and supporter who stood behind our athletes this season. Your support is the heart of Stratford Youth Cheer, and we appreciate you more than words can say.

Our girls brought the ENERGY, the CONFIDENCE, and the HEART for the 3rd Annual Lowcountry Royale Cheer Competition —and they walked off that mat WINNERS!
So proud of these Stratford Knights Youth squads for showing what hard work, discipline, and teamwork really look like. Knights in the making! 🏆✨

Every single team competed:

6U: Finished 2nd place
8U: 1st place Champs
10U: 1st place Champs
12U: 3rd place

🏆 And 10U Stratford Knights came out with the OVERALL highest score in the competition bringing home the GRAND CHAMP trophy for the 3rd year in a row!

Huge shout out to Stratford Knights HS Cheerleading JV and Varsity for coming to support the youth all day and perform for the crowd at the competition. They are amazing role models for our girls and support them all season long.

🗣️🗣️ Last but not least, can we talk about our parent, family and community support!! We showed up, and showed out in the stands for our girls!! We packed the house and made it known we were there to represent— in true Knight fashion!! ❤️🖤

Heather Weaver exemplifies what it means to be a leader, mentor, and advocate within the cheer community. Through her dedication, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her athletes, she has made a lasting impact that reaches far beyond the sidelines. Heather holds many hats. She is the JV head cheer coach (22 athletes), Varsity Head Coach (25), runs the youth cheerleading coach as the very involved director (140 athletes) and holds a cheer club at her Elementary school for the students. She has impacted 1,000s of youth in our community.

She consistently goes above and beyond to create a positive and inclusive environment where every athlete feels valued and supported. Her leadership style blends encouragement with accountability — pushing athletes to grow not only as cheerleaders but also as confident, respectful, and resilient young people. Heather leads by example, modeling hard work, sportsmanship, and team pride in every practice, performance, and community event.

One of her most notable initiatives has been promoting unity across age groups and skill levels, ensuring that younger athletes see role models in the older teams and that every participant feels like part of one big family. She has implemented mentorship programs, team bonding traditions, and service projects that connect cheerleaders with their community — showing that being a cheerleader means more than just cheering on the field; it means representing character, compassion, and leadership in everyday life.

Her organizational skills and creativity shine through in every event they touch — from pep rallies and game-day performances to community outreach and spirit drives. She inspires others to get involved, whether it’s parents, coaches, or local supporters, turning every event into an opportunity to celebrate teamwork and school pride.

Most importantly, she leads with heart. Always recognizing the potential in every athlete and invest time and energy into helping each one reach it. Her impact can be seen in the smiles on the sidelines, the confidence of the cheerleaders she coaches, and the strong sense of unity she’s built within the cheer community.
Heather doesn’t just teach cheer — she teaches leadership, kindness, and the power of believing in something bigger than yourself. That’s why Heather Weaver deserves to be recognized.
