Heiwado Karate Center

Heiwado Karate Center Heiwado Karate Center is Shotokan Karate School located inside the Goose Creek Recreation Center. The school also participates in AAU and USANKF tournaments.

HKC focuses on teaching self defense through traditional karate. Heiwado Karate Center (HKC) is well known in the tri-county area for its quality karate instruction that is based on traditional Japanese martial arts combined with modern training methods and modern self-defense. Our strong emphasis on a students’ mental development through Shotokan Karate builds our student's confidence and teaches

discipline, focus, leadership, patience, and respect. Karate also provides a means to physical fitness and self-defense while encouraging self-development​.

Congratulations on an Incredible Test Week!
Big round of applause to all our students who stepped onto the mat for test week! Your hard work and focus really showed, and we are so proud of your progress.

We also have a very special milestone to celebrate: Congratulations to Sensei Mya on her promotion! This achievement is a direct result of her unwavering dedication and leadership within the dojo.
