Kicks have many striking advantages over hand strikes.

The leg is longer and more powerful than the arm, and a low

attack is much more difficult to see.

Tang Soo Do Karate is one of the most popular – if not the most popular – popular martial art in the world! Because of the nature of Karate, practicing it is suitable for children. It is an art not only meant for self-defense and physical shape but for peace of mind and mental strength as well. Karate Etiquette is very important. Kids at the summer camp learn and practice karate techniques, social leadership skills, and character participation work.

With much joy and eagerness, we welcomed many campers today for the first day of our Martial Arts Summer Camp! Starworld's Black Belt Instructors and camp staff were excited to see the children. We have been hard at work preparing the details of the camp to make it a safe and successful experience for your children, our black belt staff, and our entire Starworld community.

Camp Benefits:

Two weeks of karate camp training equals five weeks of regular karate training. It is also an excellent opportunity for the kids to stay active during the day while having lots of fun as we teach in a more relaxed atmosphere during the day.

Daily martial arts training helps with confidence, increasing willpower, athletic skill, and self-discipline. Camp training is fun with daily fun field trips

Our qualified black belt trainers have been teaching hundreds of kids all around the west valley for years. We understand kids better!

WHAT NOT TO BRING TO CAMP:

Students should not bring money to the camp. Everything is already paid for!

No hot foods, please.

WHAT TO BRING:

Students should bring food (Lunch and a snack) that can be kept in our refrigerator every day except on Wednesdays.

A reusable water bottle.

A backpack with a change of clothes in it is encouraged.

Comfortable, closed-toed shoes and socks.

Your child's Booster Seat if your child rides in one.

A Starworld Martial Arts T-Shirt.
