IN WINTER : Bring plenty of warm clothes. When you think you have enough, pack some more. IN SUMMER: Don't forget a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and plenty of refreshments. A RAIN SUIT COULD COME IN HANDY ANYTIME OF YEAR. REMEMBER : If you are too busy to go fishing, then you are too busy!!! What a way to wind up my career as a professional fishing guide at Smith mountain lake. It is with tears of joy that I retire and NANCY and I will start a new beginning and new chapter in life. We will be relocating to Florida by way of new Orleans first and turning into full blown snowbirds , so look for us most anywhere. Till our paths meet again,may all your rods bend towards the water.
