After 4 hours of sleep I can try and put into words how proud of I am of this kid: she shows up every day, so in tune to her horses needs to keep him happy and healthy to do his job and be her partner. Lessons, training rides, taking every single opportunity to go schooling and show, she does it ALL and never ever quits.

She’s overcome a lot over the last couple of years to learn how to be an athlete and power through even when things get tough, the mental challenges of this sport are far more complex than most and she’s really learned how to keep her head in the game when she needs to most, I think that’s what I’m most proud of, her learning how to mentally stay present and push through the sticky moments.

Of course all this wouldn’t be possible without the help of her wonderfully supportive parents ❤️ and of COURSE her wonderful partner Oliver who’s really helping this kid learn the ropes of this sport and being such an amazing partner for her. Congrats Olivia! I’m so excited to see what comes next for you guys!!

We are having a blast down in Kentucky for the American Eventing Championships! Olivia is sitting in 14th in the beginner novice championships with a double clear XC round today, onto show jumping tomorrow!!

We had 6 riders compete at the Rattlewood dressage schooling show this past weekend and came home with a couple champion and reserve class winners! These riders (and coaches) braved the storms and rain all weekend and I’m so proud! Next up is AECs this weekend for championships before we head into the fall season ❤️

We are excited to welcome Andrea Monsarrat Waldo on November 20th and 21st for a workshop and clinic. As the author of the fabulous book Brain Training for Riders and having competed through the Advanced level, Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge in and out of the tack. Whether it be a mental block or training issue, she can help improve your focus and confidence

Andrea Monsarrat Waldo holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and was a practicing psychotherapist from 1994 until 2012. She is a riding instructor certified by the United States Eventing Association and trains horses and riders of all ages and abilities in the sports of eventing and dressage.

We will be having a Friday evening 3 hour workshop along with a Saturday riding clinic.

Spots for this clinic will be limited to allow riders to dig in and focus on their needs. Cost is $275 for the clinic. ($100 deposit secured your spot) Be sure to message us early to hold your spot. We will offer additional spots for the workshop for those not riding in the clinic to attend. The workshop cost is $100.

Congratulations to Conley and Sadie Ault on their purchase of Ziggy, I’m so excited to continue to watch this horse progress and hopefully see her out eventing next summer ❤️❤️
