Ascension Flight Soccer Club aims to provide every player the opportunity to enjoy and learn the game

Ascension Flight Soccer Club is an independent, nonprofit, youth organization administered and managed mostly by volunteer adults. The mission of Ascension Flight Soccer Club is to provide every player the opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer by providing a fun and safe environment, encouraging physical, mental, and social growth, while promoting integrity, good sportsmanship and the growth of soccer in our community.

⚽💙 Small Feet. BIG Fun. First Flight! 💛

Session 3️⃣ is in the books for our First Flight Academy, and our youngest players continue to bring the smiles, energy, and plenty of fun to the field!

At this age, it's all playing, exploring, making friends, and falling in love with the game, and we're loving every minute of watching our little ones take Flight!

⚽️ Growing the game, one smile at a time! 💙💛

Our Flight coaches had another opportunity to visit CARRS Academy, bringing plenty of energy, fun activities, and an introduction to the beautiful game!

Growing soccer within our community means everything to us, and moments like these are what it’s all about. A huge thank you to CARRS Academy for welcoming us back and giving us the opportunity to share our love of the game with their students!

Who knows ? We may have met a few future Flight players along the way. ✈️

Big smiles, little kicks, and the beginning of a lifelong love for the game! ⚽💙

Our youngest players are officially taking their First Flight! From chasing soccer balls to making new friends, our 2-4 year olds are learning, laughing, and enjoying every movement along the way.

Growing the game, one classroom at a time! ⚽️📚

Ahead of kicking off our 12-week Soccer-In-Schools program, Coach Kyle and Coach Bailey had the opportunity to visit CARRS Academy and share a little of what Flight is all about!

A huge thank you to CARRS Academy for welcoming us, and to Coach Kyle and Coach Bailey for continuing to invest their time and energy into growing the game throughout Ascension Parish.

Investing in Coaches. Impacting Players. Strengthening Our Community.

A great environment for our players starts with great people leading them.

Thanks to the support of Alliance Safety Council, Flight's Coaching Education Sponsor, coaches throughout our club are being encouraged to continue learning, growing, and becoming better leaders for the young players they serve.

Coach Bailey is a great example. He is currently working toward his U.S. Soccer D License, continuing to invest in his development so he can bring even more knowledge, confidence, and intentionality to the field each week.

We're incredibly thankful to Alliance Safety Council for believing in the importance of education - not only in the workplace, but throughout our community. Their partnership is helping us create better-equipped coaches, stronger environments, and more meaningful experiences for Flight players and families.

Whether preparing for N1, coming together after a trip to Nationals, or gearing up for LCSL, every Flight team received a proper introduction to the Flight Way!

A summer Ascension Parish will never forget. 💙✈️

This wasn't an overnight success—it was years in the making.

Many of these young men first wore the Flight crest in First Flight, while nearly 80% of this team grew up together through Flight Academy. They learned the fundamentals together, celebrated victories, worked through setbacks, and continued to raise the standard every season.

This summer, that journey led them to the USYS National Championships, where they made club history and represented Ascension Parish on one of the biggest stages in youth soccer.

Their accomplishments belong to them, but their impact reaches far beyond this team. Every young player stepping onto the field in First Flight or Flight Academy can now see what's possible through hard work, patience, and commitment to their teammates.

This is what it means to Take Flight—not just chasing success, but growing together and inspiring the players who will follow.

Here's to the team that showed an entire community what's possible. 💙

💙✈️ Some journeys are measured by wins and losses. Others are measured by the memories, friendships, and lives they change forever.

These young men became the first boys team in club history to qualify for the USYS National Championships—a milestone that places them among the very best teams to ever wear the Flight crest. They earned the opportunity of a lifetime and represented our club, our families, and Ascension Parish with pride every step of the way.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, families, friends, and community. Thank you for believing in these boys, investing in their dreams, and helping make this unforgettable experience a reality. Your generosity gave them memories that will last far beyond this weekend.

To our players: thank you for inspiring the next generation of Flight athletes. You've shown what's possible through hard work, resilience, and believing in one another.

The tournament may be over, but the legacy you've created is just beginning. 💙⚽
