Sauna Repair & Cleaning Update — Progress Continues
We made additional progress on the sauna today as part of our ongoing repair and deep-clean process.
This round of work focused on the exterior and interior wood cleaning, including pressure washing and treating the wood with a commercial-grade concentrated bleach solution (properly diluted) to remove buildup, discoloration, and organic residue from years of use.
Next steps will include:
Applying Goo Gone to break down remaining adhesive and residue
Carefully scraping remaining buildup using razor blades where appropriate
Continued wood repair and replacement as needed
Addressing the sauna door and finishing interior detailing
The sauna is now mechanically fully fixed with the temperature sensor now fully working, and the Heat Panels are now working like a charm (Gets hotter Faster)
We appreciate everyone’s patience while we take the time to do this the right way. Our goal is to bring the sauna back better, cleaner, and more enjoyable than before.
