Happy birthday to the most amazing man in the world!!! Have I told you how much I admire your drive (and I’m not talking about DG here, although I like those too 😆), your entrepreneurial spirit, your crazy, but exciting, ideas and your plans to make our future brighter. You are all or nothing! Go big or go home! I love that we experience life without fear of failure. But if it happens, it’s just part of a learning process. We stand up, shake the dust off and try again! We are very similar in so many ways and couldn’t be more distinct in others. And I think that’s what makes our relationship the best that can be. Thank you for inspiring and supporting me every day. You are so awesome!!! I love you and I love us very much!!!

Victoria Disc Golf League came to Gonzales!!! I won Intermediate!

Thank you Victoria Disc Golf League and all the players that showed up! Was great weather for dg! Congrats to the winners, Waldo in Rec, Joe (me) in Intermediate, and Wally Gator in Open. Also Wally with a CTP, James with a CTP, and Chris with a CTP (not pictured). John Lyles even won his first cash!!! Congrats!

Come and Take It Bar and Grill was also fantastic afterwards as well!!

HOTT (Heart of Texas Tour) MA40 Tour Champion! Thanks

Sunday concluded The HOTT (Heart of Texas Tour) by MINT DISCS with The 22nd Oktoberfest at Moodys DGR, and I am Proud to be the Series Champion of the MA40 Division!

The tour started at Moodys with the 23rd Red Rock Show, then The Ian Hovey Memorial (wasn't able to register), 30th Annual COTO (Capital of Texas Open), The 12th Gonzo Liberty Battle, Mint Discs Open, Rumble at the Ranch, and finishing with The 22nd Oktoberfest.

This was my first year of playing tournament disc golf. I've learned a lot, and have even more to learn! I have met some of the best people, and made some friends for life! Although I wasn't able to ever take a single tournament win, I tried to improve each one I played, and eventually was able to finish 3rd in the last two tournements. The battle this weekend was super close, and I did my best to stay composed and play my game, no matter the outcome, and it worked out.

I have to give a HUGE THANK YOU to my LOVE Cristiane Ripari Hamlin for her unconditional support, positive energy, and being my caddie when she could! Its not easy lugging a cart full of discs around! I love you!

I also want to thank Zachery Jansen , Guy Boyan , Chris Herbert of Mint Discs for running such a great tour of events and creating the best player experiences possible! Also thanks to everyone thats helped to make this such an experience including but not limited to Adam Case , Phil Painchaud , Mark McAlister , Renae Discgolf , BZ Strick , Luis A Jr. Garcia , Clint Blaylock , Robert Graham , Mitch Justice , David Moody , Fishead Tim McCrory , John Lyles , Rick Muñiz , Dabs Kramer , Wallace Hall and sooooo many more!!! What a Saturday! The Rumble at the Ranch and Soulfly in S.A.

The day started before the sun was up, and finished early sunday morning!

The Rumble at the Ranch was the 1st tournament at Adam Case's place, that Mike Olse designed, and lots of people have helped get ready and its a wonderful place!

I shot good and consistent for tourney play, securing 3rd place and getting my first tournament PAYOUT! Had great cardmates both rounds, and congrats to Jarrod on the Win!

We then traveled to The Rock Box in San Antonio for a Soulfly concert! It was Awesome of course!!!!

Huge Thank You to Adam, Cristiane, Zach, Guy, & Chris of Mint Discs, Mike, Phil, and everyone thats had a hand in creating some great memories!

The Mint Discs Open in Belton, TX.

We had a great weekend! Got to witness some good disc golf, and play a challenging course. Set up the booth on saturday, and Cristiane provided our customers what they needed, while Joe had a first class ticket on the struggle bus.

Had an amazing dinner and drinks, and even got a pic with a relative of Steve Harvey. LOL. He was a good sport and his buddies thought it was the funniest thing ever!

Sunday Cristiane caddied, and the 2nd round was much better. Still a couple mistakes, but thats disc golf. Who has the most FUN Wins, and we are winners everytime!

Thanks to Mint Discs, Guy and Zach, and all the awesome volunteers who put on a great event! Can't wait for next year!!!
