This beautiful arrangement was created by the incredibly talented Shane at The Blooming Cocoon for us here at The Best Little Gun Shop in Texas for Mother’s Day weekend and Market Days — and honestly…pictures don’t even do it justice. 🌸

One of the best parts of being part of this community is watching local businesses support each other, encourage each other, and help make downtown Goliad feel special. Shane has an incredible eye for design, detail, and creativity, and it shows in every single piece that comes out of The Blooming Cocoon.

It’s Pat’s birthday today. 🎉

Since we’re closed on Mondays, we’ll be celebrating at the shop tomorrow—Abby’s bringing by some cookies, so come by, grab one, and help us give him a hard time…or wish him a happy birthday. Either works.

We sure appreciate everything he does around here for our community!

There’s a lot of good knowledge out there that shouldn’t get lost.

We’ve been moving some things around in the shop and set up a small library—full of history, knowledge, and a little bit of fun.

Books for sale, free magazines, and a place to sit if you want to take a few minutes.

Come by, slow down for a bit, and see what you find.

Turns out we clean up pretty good.

Olive oils, coffees, and seasonings are set up in the shop—something a little different next time you stop in.
