CALLING ALL RUNNERS!

UMO is hosting a track meet and needs assistance! If you’re interested comment below or message the POC in the flier.

Volunteer responsibilities:

Throws area: shot put, hammer, discus, and/or javelin
- athletes throw the implement and the volunteers retrieve it and walk it back to the thrower after the throw is marked

Horizontal Jumps area:
Volunteers will be used to help mark the jumps and/ or to rake the sand pit after each jump

Vertical jumps area:
Volunteers will be used to put the bar back if a jumper knocks it down

Track/ Race events:
Depending on the track event, volunteers will be used to count laps, put steeples on and off the track, put hurdles on and off the track

Food is provided!!

There's still time to sign up for this year's Turkey Trot 5k. Cost is only $25 per person - includes T-shirt & Race Medal!

Run the race then stuff your face with the yummy chili that will be on sale. Call Outdoor Rec at 919-722-1104 to sign up.

The race starts/ends at the Mustang Taproom.
