So I did a thing! I'm excited for this new adventure and heavy hearted all at the same time. I have accepted a job offer and will now be hauling fuel full time for a company in Kingman. Loraine Franks and I have struggled quite a bit trying to keep our business afloat, but everything for us slowed way down during all of this Covid bu****it and our largest contract decided to close their doors for good because the shut down across the country hurt them so bad. The production work that we did for them was a large part of our income. Losing that has forced us to find other means to make a living. We held out as long as we could and completely depleted our nest egg hoping the work would pick back up, but it's still just a slow trickle coming in. Luckily during this time my amazing friend Dirt Guy gave me a job playing in the dirt with his trucks and equipment. Now his industry is experiencing a slow down due to all the inflated construction material costs. I will be forever grateful for his help in keeping us afloat. We are still keeping our business open, but really only as a hobby now and partly because of all the new anti-gun laws that they are trying to push through. Being a manufacturer/ importer pretty much protects us from these bogus new laws so we will maintain all of our licenses and permits. Besides I don't really feel like becoming a criminal overnight because some as**at politician decides to change how a chunk of metal or plastic is defined! Unfortunately I only see things getting worse in the future and simply can't depend on working in the fi****ms industry to support my family anymore. I know these co******er Democrats are pushing for all of their green energy bu****it too so who knows how long this new career will last, but it's good money, it's something I love doing and will keep food on our table for now. Plus for those that really know me, you know how much I like chasing that white line in the cab of a truck. For the last few of you that still have projects booked in with us, just know I'm doing everything that I can to get them finished up and sent back to you as soon as possible. I apologize for any delays and have done my best to stay in contact and communicate all of this with you. Thank you all for understanding and continuing to convince me that we have the best customers in the world! I also won't be accepting any new projects until all current projects are done and out of our books. Thank you to all of you over the years who have supported us. We started our business out of a need and experienced great success, but nothing lasts forever and it's time for a change.
