Instructor Spotlight: Tasha Souza

I’ve been teaching fitness classes for 37 years and cycle for about 25. I’ve always enjoyed exercise so I earned
my first of several fitness certifications in college. I love inspiring others to be their best selves and know that health is
essential to happiness. I am a semi-retired Professor of Communication so I hope people believe me when I share the importance of positive self-talk while exercising!
My personal exercise focus has shifted from marathons and strenuous rides to latin dancing (salsa y samba), which brings me a lot of joy (and body glitter for performances!). As a 2x cancer thriver and Radical Remission coach, I support others navigating their cancer journey to embody evidence-based healing factors. I’m so grateful to have opportunities to help others heal and be healthy! And I LOVE teaching cycle at Gold River.
