Just a typical day, only now it’s elevated with a lunch packed full of high energy foods to keep me going for 3 hours of gym clients, 3 hours of consulting, another 3 hours with gym clients, driving the kids to & fro’, and a doctor appointment in-between to check on my foot. For awhile I’d gotten into a rut of making the utmost healthy foods for my kids but neglecting my own nutrition- I’ll literally make them beautiful well-balanced home cooked lunches then sit down to do bills, invoices, laundry, dishes, emails, return calls and forget to eat while I sip on coffee and creamer (talk about a cortisol shot!). But man it feels good to prioritize my food choices, and really it’s so easy with a little forethought. Egg salad, berries, and coffee with a tiny bit of cream in the park between clients. Toes in the grass, sun on the face, and I’m ready to shine for the 2nd half of the day now ✨✨✨✨
