The SALA Summer 2026 Training Program is Here!
This program is open to 2017–2008 Boys & Girls and will run from June 23rd through August 11th at Mercer County Park. Players will train once per week on Tuesdays, 6:30–8:00 PM, with groups organized by competitive level to ensure a challenging and appropriate training environment for all participants.
Sessions will be led by SALA staff, including Parker Solowey, Pio Schiano-Lomoriello, Samuel Gough, and SALA Alumni, and will focus on technical development, decision-making, and high-intensity, game-realistic training.
The SALA coaching staff brings a strong background of professional coaching and playing experience, ensuring players are learning in an environment rooted in high-performance standards. In addition, SALA alumni and support staff contributing to the program bring a wide range of experience, including time within SALA itself, professional playing experience domestically and internationally, as well as NCAA Division I, II, and III playing experience. This combination provides players with direct access to a development pathway informed by multiple levels of the game.
Players will also participate in a Sports Nutrition Seminar led by Dr. Jennette Malsbury, designed to support athlete performance, recovery, and overall development both on and off the field.
Over the years, our summer programming has consistently produced strong outcomes. Past Summer groups have successfully placed participants into both SALA campuses and have helped over 50+ players earn opportunities to compete internationally with SALA. These experiences have included tournaments such as the Gothia Cup (Semi-Finalists), YES Cup (Champions), MIC Cup, 1900 Cup, and the SWIT Cup (Semi-Finalists), highlighting the level of exposure and competition available through the program.
