Some footage of the flood before our electricity cut out. Water came up another couple of feet after the video cut. The entire perimeter of the foundation was over a foot underwater flooding the entire gym.

One of our most used areas of the gym was installed today. Thank you to the team of guys that helped us get our new turf back in! 🙏🏼 It was an all day project getting everything lined up and installed correctly. We ended up widening our turf section so more members can enjoy all of its uses.😁 This section wraps up all of the new flooring in the gym. Piece by piece we are coming back better than ever! Today was our 1st day open since "The Flood" and we are feeling so blessed to have such loyal members!🙏 Everyone seemed so excited to be back and they all seemed to appreciate the fresh digs.🤩 We appreciate your patience while we still have some unfinished projects, but we are officially 24/7! Strong today, Strong tomorrow... Globe-Miami Strong!💪

We’re back!!!😁 Beginning @ 9am tomorrow, Wednesday, October 15th we will be partially re-opened 24/7. 🙏🏼Thank you to all of our loyal members for being so patient while we have been recovering from the devastating flood that wrecked havoc on our community September 26th. We have worked day and night to get the building back in order so that you can get back to feeling your best self. 💪 There is still some remaining renovation and install that will need to be done, so we ask that you do not enter the restricted area marked with caution tape. We will continue to work tirelessly to get the the gym back to the place you all love! In fact, better than before!😉 See you tomorrow 👊

Globe Gym experienced extensive damage from the flood on September 26th; however, we have been working from morning til night to remediate and rebuild since that night. Based on the current status of the building, the arrival of new materials and the labor involved to make it happen - We hope to re-open on October 15th. Please be aware, it might be a partial opening based on the circumstances and available materials. We ask for your patience and understanding during these trying times.

Globe Gym would like to thank the Resolution Copper Team for spending the day with us today working hard to get the whole gym painted. 🤩🙏🏼 Thank you to the ones who also stayed to get our first 50 mats of flooring back into place and moving our heavy equipment. Such a massive amount of work completed in short time. 💪

Things are coming along nicely. Just the right amount of volunteers each and every day. Drywall up and all walls textured yesterday. Today was a small crew getting the baseboards installed and caulked up. Tomorrow a team of 20 plus will be in To help get a massive amount of painting done. To our members-we are working morning till night to get your favorite gym back up and running. 👍
