Made a last minute plan yesterday to run up the mountain and man did it pay off! We ended up getting fogged in where we planned on spending the evening so hoped we could get below the fog and made a mad dash to a different spot. Ended up glassing up this buck and made a perfect 550 yard shot and left him dead where he stood!

Dad and I got home from BC last night & man did we have a trip of a lifetime. I’ve got hundreds of pictures and videos & a bunch of amazing film including an awesome kill shot. This will be coming soon to the YouTube channel!!

First bear of the spring hit the dirt Wednesday night. Went out with Landon & decided we’d battle the rain and look for this bear I saw Monday evening. Sure enough he was right where I left him, spotted him at about 800 yards & were able to close it to 130 yards & that was all she wrote!

Working around the house today on the ranch & look up on the hill to see this one bringing back a fresh brown to the house! Guess I better take her for a walk & see if we can’t turn up the other side!

First steelhead trip of the year yesterday & was able to hook into this nice little hatchery hen!

Had one hell of a shoot over the weekend with . The ducks did it dirty & even got a bonus goose. 3 birds short of a 4 man limit made for a fun morning with the boys🤙🏻

Went out Saturday with my dad, uncle and little cousin hoping to get him on a buck. After a hard day of hunting Louis made a great shot on his first buck! Absolutely love hunting the youth weekend every year!

Well I was able to complete my 2023 Oregon slam and also close the chapter on this sweet forky. This buck is either the luckiest or one of the smartest bucks I’ve ever chased. He gave me the slip at least 5 times in the last 2 weeks & spent many other days out looking for him without any sign of him. Malachi & I put an amazing 1,000+ yard stalk on him & finished it off with a 140 yard shot!
