Went down to MXC Racing in Cairo Missouri. Braylon and Ace both ran the youth race.

Braylon ran B class, which allows machines up to 125cc with clutch and modified suspension. Braylon ran on his stock 90cc auto. Braylon took the holeshot, and led the class into the woods. Unfortunately the track was miss-marked and all the kids went off course. Braylon quickly realized they weren't on the right course and turned around to get back on course. He never once lost the lead and maintained p1 all the way to the checkers🏁!! Unfortunately they adjusted the scoring for all the kids that got lost and this knocked Braylon to 3rd- none of this takes away from how well he rode and how well he paid attention to the course and did the best he could get back on course quickly.

Ace rode in C class on his 50cc. This class allowes up to 125cc shifters, so needless to say he was a little out machined! This didn't stop him from riding like crazy. He went into the woods around p12 of 14 he quickly worked his way up the field and rode absolutely great on a slick track due to the rain 🌧! He ended up finishing 6th in class and he loved the creek crossing🏞

Iatvhss Wheeling on the Wyaconda! An Unforgettable Race Day

Braylon was up first and man, was this an exciting race! He took his FIRST holeshot and was first into the woods! He put his head down and rode like he's been out front 1000 times! He led for more than the first half of the race, only slipping into 2nd for a short time before regaining the lead. After around 40 minutes, he started to get tired and had to slow his pace a little bit. This was his first holeshot, first time leading, and first time riding this hard for such a long period. Even as he got tired, he pushed as hard as his body would let him! He fell back to finish P5. Even with that finish, this was by far his best performance to date, and I am beyond proud of the work, effort, and focus he put into this race! πŸπŸ‘

Up next was Ace! He got off to an okay start, going 3rd into the woods. He quickly worked up to second, but a small mistake put him back in 3rd. On the second lap, he moved back up into second and reeled in the leader. On the third lap, he was only a few seconds behind when the leader made a small mistake, allowing Ace to overtake the lead. At this point, he put his head down and made some great laps to finish the race P1 for his first IATVSS victory, and 2nd overall!!! This was also Ace's best performance to date. The focus, determination, and speed these boys are showing is so awesome to see and fun to watch! πŸš€πŸ†

Both boys said this was their favorite track they have competed on, and we can't thank the track crew and helpers enough! It was a great weekend full of friends, fun, and FIRSTS!! πŸŽ‰πŸ™Œ

Another race week! The boys are ready to battle at a new track!

The Kahoka race originally scheduled on June 29th has been rescheduled to July 27th.

IATVSS rd5 Greenhurt Farms in Mount Pleasant! What a weekend!!

The morning started with Braylon taking off at 8:30 in the young 90 stock class. He got a good start coming out of the holeshot 4th. He kept his pace up and maintained 4th throughout the whole hr until the last lap when he was able to push up to and overtake 3rd even with a small mistake and having to pull his wheeler off of a tree. This was Braylon's first podium finsh in the local Iowa series. He has been putting in a ton of work and had the determination to to make it happen!!

Ace was up next at 11 in the 50 stock class. He was the first one to the 2nd corner and went into the woods 1st. Slipped into 2nd on the first lap and maintained 2nd until a small mistake on his last lap let 3rd around, finishing p3. That's 2 races in a row on the box and another solid run on a hot, and challenging track!

Adults were up at 1 and I took the line in open utility. Started slow going last into the woods but quickly worked my way up to 6th. By Lap 2 I was up to 4th. I maintained slow and steady pace as the heat was taking a major toll on me. I stopped every lap and without Joe Nelson and Natalee Nelson helping keep me cool with ice and water I would have never made it. I narrowly escaped major injury and carnage when a pitting racer decided not to check the track before re-entry. We collided very hard and were both lucky to escape unscathed. I backed off the pace even more just to try to make it to the end. Some other riders in class had some bad luck allowing me to move up into 2nd place on my last lap for my first open utility podium!

It was a hugely successful day for the entire Four Six Nine Racing team.

Huge thanks to all that made this weekend possible from track workers to the volunteers and all that stepped up!

Took the boys up to Humbolt for the Iowa Minnesota MX Series race at the fair grounds.

Ace raced in the recreational 50 class and went 1-1 in his motos, securing a first place overall. He rode great and did an awesome job navigating the track and jumps! He took both holeshots and was ripping!

Braylon raced in two classes. He entered the 90 Sr. Class with some race quads, aiming to get a little more seat time and practice. He ended up going 5-5 (out of 6) and rode extremely well in this class, making an excellent pass into 5th place in the first moto.

Braylon also raced in the recreational 90 class, which turned out to be one of the most entertaining classes of the day. He got the holeshot in both motos. In Moto 1, he had 2nd place all over his bumper from the start. He made some awesome blocks and kept up the speed to take the win. In Moto 2, he got another holeshot and the lead, with 2nd place right on his tail. A bad line choice let 2nd place around him, but he quickly made the pass back into the lead on the next corner. On the next lap, 2nd place was able to sneak back around him. He tried everything he could but was unable to make the pass back into first. He went 1-2 for a heartbreaking 2nd overall. It was a tough feeling for him, but he learned more than in any other race he's been in and is ready to rip at the next one!

Can't thank everyone enough for the support including Grandma and grandpa, and Kelsey and Teejay for coming to watch and support the boys at the track!
