I've been meaning to post the final pic of this sweet gal. It's a commissioned acrylic 24" x 24" canvas painting in memory of Sasha for Tori and her mom. Looking for a local art event? Horizontal Grandeur at the Stevens Historical Museum in Morris, MN is always a fun event where you can see prairie themed art by artists from all states that have prairie. The DeVos Art Museum is hosting the 'North of the 45th Parallel' Juried Art Exhibit through August 11, 2016. The DeVos is in the University of Northern Michigan in Marquette, MI. Three of my paintings were invited to participate...'Basking' (acrylics on canvas 2016), 'Test of Time' (acrylics and oils on canvas 2015) & 'Call of the Prairie' (acrylics and oils on canvas 2015 - this painting not able to be in the show due to unforeseen overlap with Plains Art Museum exhibit timeline - but still and honor).

The Hutchinson Center for the Arts SMAC Region juried art show features art from 30 southwest MN artists and was juried by established artist Michon Weeks. The show is open for your viewing pleasure until July 8th, 2016. Lots of high quality art to enjoy...

'Begin Again' is part of the Hutchinson Center for the Arts Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC) region juried art show until July 8th. It also won first place in 2 dimensional works. Now that was a nice surprise! Thrilled to say the least!
