[ NOVA NIT ]

Another weekend. Another battle.
This weekend our FEVER girls headed to the USSSA NOVA NIT and finished the weekend 4-2, battling their way deep into Sunday and earning a spot in the semifinals.

And let’s talk about Saturday…
With temperatures climbing over 90°, these girls had a LONG day ahead of them. Four pool play games (including an extra game that didn’t even count), starting at 8AM and not wrapping up until after their final game at 5PM. The heat was brutal, the day was long — but the girls showed up and handled business.

They battled through pool play, finishing 2-1 in games that counted and earning themselves the #3 seed heading into Sunday bracket play.

Sunday morning the girls came out ready. Facing Front Royal Fire, FEVER shut it down with an 8-0 win to advance into the semifinals against a familiar opponent — Heartbreakers, a team we had just faced in a scrimmage two weeks prior. And what a battle it was.

Down 0-2 early, the girls didn’t panic. They dug in. They fought back. Taking a 4-2 lead in the top of the 4th inning and showing exactly the kind of grit this team is built on.

Unfortunately, sometimes this game throws you moments you can’t control. After an unlucky defensive collision with the umpire that cost us the 3rd out, Heartbreakers capitalized and tied the game 4-4, forcing a 5th inning international tie breaker.

The energy was high. The pressure was real. Both teams battled until the very end — but this time we came up just short, falling 4-5 in a heartbreaker.
And while it’s easy to let that final moment overshadow everything else… we won’t.

Because weekends like this are where teams are built. The more these girls find themselves in these tight, high-pressure, everything-on-the-line games — the more they learn. They learn how to fight through adversity. How to pick each other up. How to stay composed when emotions are high. How to keep believing until the very last pitch.
We won’t always get the storybook ending. We won’t always get the walk-off wins…But one thing is certain -

These girls sure as hell won’t go down without a fight.

Help us give a big FEVER welcome to the newest addition to our roster - #4, SOPHIA GLASS!!

Sophia is no stranger to this squad — after guest playing with us a few times and helping bring home 2 championships, it didn’t take long to know she belonged.

From the moment Sophia stepped on the field with these girls, the connection was instant. She fit right into the team, the energy, the sisterhood and the culture we’ve built.

Sophia is an elite-level defender with the ability to compete anywhere on the field. And at the plate… well, we already know she brings the power. She’s already got 2 HomeRUNS in a FEVER jersey 😉

We couldn’t be more excited to officially add Sophia (& her family) to our roster (& sideline)!!

[ THE PUNCH & THE KNOCKOUT ]

A huge shoutout to our two powerhouse bats in the heart of the lineup — #12 Gaby & #22 Harper.

Holding down the 3 and 4 spots respectively, these two have become a dangerous back-to-back duo at the plate. Whether it’s setting the tone, coming through in clutch moments or driving the ball when their team needs it most — these girls continue to deliver.

This weekend BOTH hitters reached a major season milestone…

100+ RBIs EACH !!

That’s over 200 runs driven in between the two of them — a true testament to their hard work, consistency, and ability to show up when it counts.

[ F L A M E T H R O W E R ]

This weekend our FEVER girls stayed local, competing in the USSSA FlameThrower 12U Open Division against some of the top organizations in our area. The girls finished the weekend 2-2, and while Sunday didn’t end the way we wanted (or the way we’re used to), there are always lessons to take away.

Emotions were high in a nail-biter first-round matchup against Stars 12U Bechard — a team we know all too well. The girls battled back and forth for 5 innings, trading punches until the very end, but came up just short 7-8.

Softball is a game built around failure. We will fail more than we succeed — but the real measure of success is how you respond. It’s showing up, getting back to work, and continuing to grow every single day. The losses don’t define us, the response does. And these girls already know, it’s back to work on Monday.

A HUGE shoutout to our #12 Gaby!! Our powerhouse at the plate cleared her FIRST over-the-fence home run this weekend! Now that the first one is out of the way… we have a feeling there are plenty more coming. Way to go, Gabs!

And a special thank you to Annabel for guest playing with us these last couple weekends. We appreciate you stepping in, working hard, and being part of the squad!

Time to reset, refocus, and get back after it.

we will be making the transition from 12u A/Open to 13u A/Open. The team has a current record of 78-28-2 with 9 Championship appearances, coming home tournament Champions 7x!

help us give a huge FEVER Birthday shout out to our #7, Ava!

Ava is the definition of clutch. Holding down the middle of our lineup with that extra POP - when there are 2 outs and we need someone to spark a rally… somehow #7 always finds a way. Our 2 out rally queen.

She handles business over at 1st base, has been grinding behind the plate putting in the work to earn those catcher innings, and has recently found a new home (and love) out in right field.

But it’s not all business with Ava — you can always count on #7 to bring the energy, the laughs, and of course… a TikTok dance break between games.

Happy 13th Birthday Ava! Keep working, keep believing, and keep making big things happen!

A huge congratulations to our FIVE Fever girls who earned their invites to the 2026 USSSA All American Games!!

With over 150 athletes competing across multiple Northeast tryouts — from New Jersey down to Virginia — these girls showed up, competed, and earned their spot among some of the best.

We couldn’t be more proud of the way they represented not only themselves, but their teammates, coaches, and the FEVER name. The hard work, dedication, and countless hours they put into this game continue to show.

Way to go girls — keep working, keep competing, and keep making FEVER proud!

[ FEVER FRENZY ]

Our organization’s annual tournament. Our home field. Familiar faces. Same mission.

Playing at Glenelg HS, it was business as usual for our FEVER girls on Saturday — including an in-house matchup against our sister team FEVER 12U Ryan. The girls handled business, going 3-0 in pool play and securing the #1 seed heading into bracket play Sunday.

Sunday brought round two against FEVER 12U Ryan, where the girls came out swinging and punched their ticket to the Championship game with a 20-0 win.

And waiting for us in the Championship? A familiar opponent and friendly rival — Starz Gold 12U Buxton.

Just like every meeting between these two teams, it was a battle. FEVER found themselves in an early 0-5 hole in the 1st inning, and with emotions high and the pressure on, the girls had two choices — fold or fight.

And they fought.

They chipped away, battled back, and never stopped pushing. Unfortunately, time wasn’t on our side and we came up short, falling 3-6 in a hard-fought Championship game. Ending the weekend as FEVER Frenzy Finalists. Big FEVER shout out to our girl Annabel for guest playing with us and lending her arm in the circle and her bat at the plate! We loved having you!

Week after week. Tournament after tournament. These girls continue to prove they belong in those final games on Sunday. Making deep bracket runs isn’t luck — it’s becoming the expectation, the standard. The Championship game is always the goal, and earning your way there is an accomplishment in itself.

There’s still a lot of softball left this season. Next weekend we line up against some of the biggest competitors in our local circuit. We know it won’t be easy. But these girls, together they’re always ready. to. play.

Hagerstown, MD - USA Spring Fling - 11 teams.

Our FEVER girls went a perfect 6-0 on the weekend, outscoring opponents 52-4 while allowing only FOUR runs across six games. only FOUR runs!!!

The girls came out swinging early, going 3-0 in pool play to lock in the #1 seed heading into bracket Sunday — and never looked back.

This lineup was rolling all weekend long, totaling 50 hits as a team. Harper led the way with 9 hits, while Kylie drove in 8 RBIs. Rachel showed off the wheels with the team’s only triple of the weekend. Every. single. girl. contributed. Every girl did her part.

And the circle? Absolute lockdown. Malia & Kylie combined for 38 strikeouts while holding opposing batters to a .138 average.

Both were completely dominant all weekend, with Kylie throwing her first PERFECT GAME in the semifinal round:
4 innings.
0 hits.
0 runs.
0 walks.
8 strikeouts.

Not a single runner reached base. Defense was completely locked in behind her and shut everything down.

After the semifinal win, the girls found themselves right back where they belong — in the championship game. Facing a tough Flood City squad, the girls chipped away inning by inning before sealing a 6-1 championship WIN, handing Flood City their second loss of the season.

the weathers heating up and so is FEVER. The sun’s out, the bats are loud, and this squad is just getting started.

[ Milestone Monday ]

200 Ks and counting for #23 Malia!

Quiet in the circle .. loud with the results. This weekend Malia hit 200 strikeouts on the season — and she’s earned every single one of them. Hours of work, battling through tough lineups, and showing up when her team needs her most.

Big milestone for one of the toughest arms around. The scary part? She’s just getting started. Way to go Mal!!
