☕🌻 **Caffeinate & Educate is BACK!** 🐝🦋

What a great afternoon at the Mills County YMCA! We loved having Milkweed Matters join us to share how we can create welcoming spaces for pollinators and help those important bees and butterflies thrive. 🌼🐝🦋

Of course, Caffeinate & Educate wouldn’t be complete without some good food and good company! We enjoyed a delicious potluck, lots of laughs, and finished the day by getting creative and painting rocks. 🎨🪨

A BIG thank you to Milkweed Matters for spending the afternoon with us and to everyone who brought a dish, joined in the fun, and helped make our first Caffeinate & Educate of the season such a great one! 💛

There once was a volleyball, sitting alone,
Waiting for players to call it their own.

It dreamed of a BUMP and hoped for a SET,
But its perfect volleyball team hadn’t signed up yet!

“Where are my players?” the volleyball cried,
“I need some teammates here by my side!”

Kids who will LEARN, kids who will GROW,
Kids who will cheer whether winning or no!

Fall is the perfect time to LEARN, GROW, PLAY & BELONG at the Mills County YMCA! Registration is open for Fall 2 Swim Lessons and Youth Sports—and we’re ready for another great season!

🏊‍♀️ FALL 2 SWIM LESSONS
📅 Session: September 27–November 7

From building water confidence to developing lifesaving swimming skills, YMCA Swim Lessons help kids become safer, stronger and more confident around the water—all while learning in a caring and encouraging environment.

Available classes include:
Sunday Afternoons: Parent/Child-Aquatic Conditioning
Tuesday Evenings: Stages 1-6
Thursday Evenings: Stages 1-6

🏀🏐 FALL 2 YOUTH SPORTS
📅 Session: October 31–December 12

🏀 Basketball: Ages 3 through 8th Grade
🏐 Volleyball: Grades K–8

At the Y, youth sports are about so much more than winning! Kids develop skills, build confidence, make new friends, practice teamwork and sportsmanship, and experience what it means to be part of a team where everyone belongs.

Make the Y part of your family’s fall! Spaces are limited, so don’t wait to get registered.
