Klickitat Trek Endurance Ride

With a concerned heart during this unsure time, we have decided to cancel the Klickitat Trek Endurance Ride for 2020. We want to do our part for the safety of our fellow horse community members, their families, as well as everyone in our communities. We hope this finds you safe and well, STAY HEALTHY and we will see you next Memorial Day weekend 2021. - Marilyn

I'm feeling sad today as I have to announce the Cancellation of the Klickitat Trek for 2018.
There are permit issues that just have to get worked out. So I guess instead of clearing and marking trails this May I will be negotiating with the DNR. to use our public lands...

I'm realizing that the KT is 2 months away!!!!!
I want to send an alert to watch for an online registration venue that will be coming soon, with in the next 2 weeks. It will speed the registration process greatly.
I'm so looking forward to seeing all....i'm expecting to have some new trails, like always, lots of fun and a 100 mile ride if we get enough entrants.

Hello all, Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to this FB page to say thank you to you all who came to support the KT ride, posted pictures, that are super fun to look at, and volunteered to take pulses, time, stand at gate, smile lots, just be a part of what I felt was a fun event.
Thanks to Anna the stats should already be posted.
I was in Glenwood for 3 days after you all left, taking down ribbons, bringing in water tanks, etc. All of the after the ride duties that the ride managers have to take care of. Be sure to say thank you to ride managers. They/we are who provide you the arena to play, dream, meet goals and new friends in.....
For me, as a manager, I want to provide a safe, fun environment for riders to full fill their goals and dreams, maybe face and overcome some challenges. I hope the rest of your ride season is full of FUN and maybe some sun.....

Today is the day I leave home to Klickitat Trek. Yes, if you are counting on your fingers like I am I will be away for 14 days, 3 of those will be clean up, take down ribbons, etc, 3 of them will be with you all and the rest of the time will be spent getting ready for you all to come and play with us. We do like to have fun.
Prairie will be answering questions that may come up on this facebook site. Mostly folks are wondering about pre registering. We do need that or do that. We will need your AERC cards and prefer cash if you can. If I get somewhere where I can send pictures I will, otherwise come see what we have done this year!
