Stop using such light tippet 🤦‍♂️

I’d rather break a fly off on a branch than break a fish off with it.

I fish thicker tippet because when I hook a big fish, I want the confidence to put him in the net.

The goal isn’t just to hook the fish. The goal is to land him.

And I’d much rather have that fish swimming away without a hook in his face.

93 yards. 🎯🏹

GSO Head Bow Tech Spencer Trown ( 11th Mountain Outdoors )putting the PSE Archery Mach 34 to work on a solid buck.

A long shot takes confidence, practice, and knowing exactly what your setup can do. Spencer put it all together when it counted.

93 yards. One arrow. Buck down.

That’s what happens when you put the work in. 💪

🍂 THREE FLIES FOR THE WEEK 🎣

Fall streamer fishing is here, and these three have been absolutely crushing it:

🟢 Drunken Disorderly — one of my hot flies lately
🫒 Olive Dungeon — another go-to that’s been producing
🤎 Double Dirty Hippie – Brown Trout Flavor — putting fish in the net

If you’re heading out, these are three I’d have in the box right now.

Got questions? Stop by the shop and we’ll get you dialed.
