Was able to go fishing tonight for about an hour and a half. Caught a couple fish on a spinner bait and this little bass on my little jerkbait painted in rainbow trout. Nothing beats the feeling you get when a bait you design and craft catches fish!

Finally had some time from being busy to get some lures painted. Decided to spray a couple in one of my favorite patterns to paint which is the rainbow trout. Also, decided to try my hand at painting one to resemble a brook trout.

This is what I have been working on lately to to get ready for the Fall Festival in Cedar Creek. Slowly building up my line up with new designs such as the tiny jerkbait!

Had a couple wooden lures I carved several years ago that needed finished. So I painted them. The small crankbait is very similar to the one I am about to mold. The jerkbait I think I will cut another one out and mold it.

Painted a few of my lures today. Finally got around to making a few of my jointed crankbaits.

Painted a couple more of my larger jerkbait. Since the fish was biting my other trout painted bait. I decided to paint a few more. Now to put hooks on and tune them to swim straight.

Decided to go fishing with one of my own lure designs. It is a larger jerkbait that is painted to resemble a rainbow trout. It was the practice piece for the paint pattern so the paint isn't perfect, but fish like it! I do sell lures and have different kinds that are already painted. I can also make more and do custom colors if requested.

Mold for my jointed crankbait came out good! Time to start figuring the weight and hook placement.

Just started working on a top water popper. It is actually very similar to my smaller jerk bait because it is from the same mold. It just happened to form a air bubble when I poured it without making a vent hole. It left me with the shape of the lure and all I did was drill eye holes and dremeled the mouth to make it cup-shaped.

Got a couple airbrushes the other day and these are the first 5 I have ever painted with one. No clear coat on them yet so they look a little dull. Not perfect, but I'm happy with how they turned out.
