We don't post much because we are busy training. But we are still here. If you would be interested in learning Jiu-jitsu/self-defense message or swing by. We train all experience levels. Classes Weds, Fri, Sunday and other days upon request. This isn't for everyone or easy, but it does provide many positive benefits for confidence, competency, health, and social interaction .

Just In Time For Christmas!

Give your loved one the gift of confidence this holiday season. We have the beautiful Glennville Jiu-jitsu challenge coins for sale ($20). Each coin can be traded for a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class. Jiu-jitsu has numerous physical and mental benefits. It can give individuals the tools to defend themselves in an uncertain world, as well as get in shape and and socialize with other people. If you know someone who has been expressing an interest in these things buy them a coin and send them our way.

Or maybe your uncle was putting heavy pressure on everyone at Thanksgiving, roughing up the kids and such. Send that guy up here and we will hone his already formidable skills to a razor’s edge. He might even represent your family in the UFC one day, like he is always telling you he could.

Whatever your reason, these things look great just laying all around your house, trust me I know. You could drill a hole through it and hang it on the Christmas tree. The possibilities are endless! Come get yours today, by that I mean when we are open!

Congratulations to the guys who competed in the Newbreed Brazillian Jiujitsu/ Grappling competition this past weekend in Hardeeville South Carolina. We had two people go and they both made it to the podium and earned a medal, no participation trophies here Aiden Valdez got a silver medal in his division and Spencer Hinson got a bronze in his division. This was Spencer's first competition.

Congratulations to the guys who competed in the Tap Cancer Out benefit tournament this weekend in Hardeeville. Phil Mancini got first place in his division . Aiden Valdez got first place in his division. Dominique Albritton got second place in his division. And our friend Josh Bryant from Patterson got 3rd Place in his division. All of these guys showed great heart and determination and their hard work paid off for them.

Congratulations to Justin Maldonado on his promotion to purple belt at the 10th Planet Savannah team gathering this past weekend.

Purple belt is the first of the advanced belts of Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and Justin has more than earned the right to enter into the ranks of the advanced practitioners of Jiu-jitsu.

This is not something that is bestowed lightly at our school.

While a belt promotion is recognition of one's technical prowess and competence by senior practitioners. It is Justin himself who made the sacrifices and put in the hard work to reach this level of proficiency in a very difficult endeavor. This is something few people achieve.

All of these guys represented themselves and their teammates well.
