If you are thinking of getting off FB because of the volume of sales ads and trash stuff. I receive a lot more of these post than posts from friends’. So I had to change my algorithm. So hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’ Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field. Click paste. This upgrades the system.

To anyone in the club or not, I need to address something that was brought to my attention. Although I'm not a member right now, I need to mention an incident at the clubs Range. It was brought to my attention that a couple of members were at the Range and there was a fire at the Rifle Range and no one was there to attend it. Come to find out that the members were on the upper Range. He mentioned to them that doing that was reckless and should be attended being that it was a pretty good fire and there were lots of fuel ( kindling and such) close to it. I wasn't there so I won't go into any more detail, but I did want to mention it and stress that unattended fires cause forest fires!! As a former fire fighter I've seen fires get out of control fairly quickly. Let's all do our part and prevent these fires from getting out of control by NOT doing reckless behavior like leaving fires of any size unattended. Even smoldering fires have caused considerable damage in minutes of an unattended period. Don't be the person responsible for burning down a forest and risking lives needlessly!! That's my Rant!! Rant Over!

Well, I'm not sure what happened or if this will get to anyone who is a member of the Glennie Sportsmans Club, however if it does I just would like to say that back in March my Facebook account was hacked and basically stolen from me. Everything that I had on my account for 13 years was obliterated within seconds including the original Sportsmans Club page. Hopefully it is not still floating around in cyberspace somewhere, but if it is I don't think I have control of it anymore. All I can do is start over again and hopefully it works. I'll post more later!
