The 2026 Red Oak High School Spring Football Game included many great plays by the Hawks Football Team but also ended a era of the existing Billy Goodloe Stadium before a complete transformation. Red Oak ISD Superintendent of Schools, Brenda Sanford kicked off the Spring Game with a short presentation with ROISD School Board and Goodloe family members present.

The final portion of the old bridge deck of the Ovilla Rd. overpass at I-35E in Red Oak, TX was demolished beginning on May 8th and through the early morning hours of May 10th. This video shows some of the demolition at night on May 9 and the deck removed on May 10. There's two hyperlapse videos at the end as storms approached the Interchange during the early afternoon on May 10.

Smokey & Bandit and the Batmobile were two of many beautiful cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors at the annual Red Oak Chapter of FFA Car Show fund raiser. This year's show saw over 60 entries. The FFA Chapter raffled off some nice gifts too. Proceeds go directly to the FFA Chapter to support the students involved with FFA.
