Today, the staff, pilots, crew and volunteers of the Chester County Hot Air Balloon Festival pause to remember and honor all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

We remember the first responders and everyday people who never made it home, as well as the countless families, friends and loved ones whose lives were forever changed.

May we never forget their lives, their stories and the sacrifices made that day.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

💛 UPDATE: Keegan has been found 💛

Keegan Spina has been located safe. Thank you to everyone who shared, called, kept an eye out, or just held this family in their thoughts over the last few days. It made a difference.

To Keegan’s family, especially his aunt who’s been part of our balloon community for years, we’re so glad he’s home.

This is exactly why sharing matters.

This one hits close to home. Keegan’s aunt has been coming to our festival for years, she’s part of our balloon family, and right now her family needs us.

Keegan Spina, 17, has been missing since Monday, 8/25, around 2:30pm from Washington Township, NJ. He’s believed to be traveling with another missing juvenile, Aaric Purcell. They may be in the PA or DE area.

Keegan was last seen wearing a maroon Aeropostale t-shirt, jeans, black combat boots, and a black backpack.

If you’ve seen either of these boys or have any information, please contact Washington Township Police immediately at 856-256-1212, or their Detectives at 856-589-0330.

Keegan, if you see this, please reach out to your family or the police and let them know you’re safe.

This is what the weekend looked like at the 18th Annual Chester County Hot Air Balloon Festival 🎈

Cotton candy bigger than your face, slides that made adults wish they were seven again, and a pony who had absolutely no idea he was the highlight of someone’s whole day. Bouncy Time Moonbounces & Party Rentals kids zone and petting zoo brought it, and the kids delivered.

See you next June.
