𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 Closures remain in place at least through the holiday weekend in the following locations to ALL visitors (vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, and equestrians):

⛔️ All of San Gabriel Canyon is closed due to firefighting operations and public/firefighter safety!
⛔️ State Route 39 (San Gabriel Canyon Rd.) from San Gabriel River Bridge to Crystal Lake Rd.
⛔️ East Fork Rd from Hwy 39 to Glendora Mountain Rd.
⛔️ Glendora Mountain Rd from Glendora, CA, to the East Fork.
⛔️ Glendora Ridge Rd. from Mt. Baldy to Glendora Mountain Rd.

NEWLY IMPROVED GMR double center line and raised reflector bumps will let you know when you've crossed over the line even while texting or taking selfies before you kill yourself or someone else! Looks like some of them are recessed for the blade trucks. Work has been completed the first 5+ miles and will continue through Dec. 20 according to the electric message board. Nov. 10, 2020

‪Over this past weekend, we removed 10.3 TONS of trash from the San Gabriel Canyon area. Help us keep the forest clean by taking your trash with you. Together we can keep the majestic for all! ‬

In coordination with Los Angeles County Public Works, the Glendora Mountain Road (north of Big Dalton Rd to East Fork Rd) and Glendora Ridge Road (Glendora Mountain Rd to Mt. Baldy Rd) will be closed due to the Independence Day Holiday.

This closure will be scheduled from Wednesday July 3 (approximately 4 pm) to Friday July 5 (approximately 10 am).

The road will remain open to bicyclists, hikers and equestrians.
