I’d like to take a moment to remind folks what the EMT’s mean to Glendo Reservoir! For all of you trail riders, you wreck EMS is on the way, you flip an ATV or sidexside the first one they call is the EMS, your kid trash’s his bike and they are first ones there! When my dad drowned at a very rural lake the EMS had recovered his body within 40 minutes of the last sighting of dad, when “mom” was having heart problems at the cabin the EMS not only rushed her to the hospital but came by days later to check on her! Sounds like the new marina isn’t getting very involved and that’s as sad as sad could be but means the people of Glendo reservoir need to come together and make this auction work! Do it for your families and show the marina the pride that we have at the lake! Donations are desperately needed with only a week left, Michelle Wright is jumping in and trying to help this important cause and make it successful! We challenge B&A marina to try and match the over $35,000 collected last year by Rooch’s Marina and friends! Your needed more now then ever! Good luck and god bless the Platte County EMT’S
