Sorry for the delay. We've been trying to get everything together prior to posting.
Max and I are glad that you are interested in playing this summer against Belmont. There are a few differences with this game. First and most importantly, we will not have access to Eagle Rock's equipment or jerseys. Unfortunately, the school can't take the risk of somebody getting injured while wearing their equipment or not getting it back after the game. We are also not able to play through a alumni football company like USA Alumni as they are booked through the entire summer. The only way we'll be able to play is if we all purchase our own equipment. Max and I have worked out the cost to play and for equipment for this July 9 game. Here they are, $40 to play (these fees are for the field, refs and 5 tickets for your family members), Pads will be $30. Helmets are $120 and game jerseys and pants are $50. If you have pads or a helmet you can subtract that from your fees. This all comes out to $240 per player for this game only. When we play any games in the future player fees will only be for the field and refs. Think of the benefits of being able to practice with pads prior to game day. We understand that $240 is a lot to ask for to play a single game of football so that is why we are bringing it to you guys first, Please respond to this post to let us know if you are still interested, If you have any questions or ideas please let us know, We are open to suggestions.
