LTF encourages everyone to continue running but to do so wisely — meaning solo or very small group runs.

For those that were training with us for the LA 13.1 (now cancelled), just know that you would have done an amazing job with all the hard work you were putting in. Coach Lils can continue updating your training plans for the half-marathon cycle if you wish!

Today, we ran with by Glendale at the !!🤗🕺

Nike is DOING IT! They blessed Glendale with a fun and hip store and brought us one of the best coaches I know to guide us through a 5k and 10 mile long run (for those training for the 13.1😉).

LTF FRIENDS! Join us tomorrow 2/15 for a long run with LTF as we train for the Nike LA 13.1!!
•
This week’s long-run menu calls for a 9.5 mile progression! We will start with a warm-up, then begin the run around Glendale. The route will be posted on Strava (Club: LTF)!
•
There will be water/electrolytes at miles 3 and 6 as well as post-run refreshments.
•
Again, you don’t need to be training for the half to join us. LTF will still provide a modified workout 😎.
•
Meet at the Americana in Glendale, in front of the Apple store, at 8:00am.

Hi SoCal runners 👋🏽, LTF wants to kick off 2020 right by bringing the community together. This Wednesday, January 8th at 6:30pm, we will have our first around Glendale!
•
will entail 3-mile group runs, where all levels are welcome! ✨ There will be two run leads going at different paces, so feel free to go at a pace that feels comfortable for you!
•
To add to the excitement, for every 10 you complete, you will score some free swag! 🎁 All you need to do is scan our QR code with your phone, and your attendance will be logged automatically! 🤳
•
We will be posting the on Strava (LTF), where you’ll be able to check out the route and RSVP!
•
We will meet at the Americana in front of the new Amazon 4-Star store. We look forward to seeing you out there!

Happy New Year from LTF!! 🥳 We are bounding into 2020 with excitement!! 😝 LTF has announcements regarding events and some new stuff. 🤭
•
But first, I want to go on here as Coach Lils to thank everyone who supported LTF in 2019 in any way, shape, or form. LTF would 100% not be where it is right now without all the support. 🙏🏽
•
Every presented me with lots of joy as I got the opportunity to help adults become their best athletic selves. It’s exciting and inspiring to watch athletes put in the work and improve. As a runner myself, I understand the grind it takes to become a better runner and overall athlete. The workouts never get easy - one just gets better (both physically and mentally).
•
For those of you who committed to training and racing the Santa Monica Classic, joined , and participated in the LTF Classics (SA & LA): thank you from the bottom of my heart. Y’all made it so easy for me to coach regardless of my severe injury. (Thanks for accepting one-legged demonstrations at times!! 🤪)
•
with LTF will stay and resume February 2020. Looking forward to working with y’all on warm-ups, speed/acceleration/running mechanics drills, and workouts! Be on the lookout for a post of the schedule!

This year LTF plans to participate in a couple of races as a team. Races are a great way to work towards a healthy goal and bond with other runners (of all levels!). DM if interested! 🤗

Lastly...LTF will now have on Wednesday evenings!! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ The Glendale area is in need of some love for the running community, so LTF is here to offer that! We will gift cool swag after every 10th Wednesday run you complete. Runs will begin on January 8th from the . More details to come!

Last LTF Classic of 2019 was a success!!! 👊🏽 What a fun time it was to watch athletes get competitive and test themselves! 👏🏽
•
The LA athletes had the opportunity to compete in an obstacle course as well as in an open 400m!! 🤭👏🏽 The obstacle course involved a mix of “track and field” and agility elements, all aiming to improve one’s running mechanics and overall athleticism.
•
It was a great way to close off the year and enter 2020 with new baselines and goals (not to mention, with some cool swag too 🤑)!!
•

Last week we had the LTF Classic in San Antonio, TX. It is now time for LA to have its very own LTF Classic this Saturday! We will start with drills to work on running mechanics, power, and agility. Then we will move on to some challenges!! Bring your A-game for opportunities to win prizes! All levels welcome!
