Jose’s Papi Chulo
“Papi”
November 13, 2017 - September 30, 2026
I still am in shock as I write this….Papi you were one of a kind and will be deeply missed. Papi was one of those horses that would make your day brighter and make you smile. He was so smart and the class clown. His unique color and eyes made him stand out when you say him a mile away. He was one of the hardest horses I have gotten when we started for me to understand and fell successful with, yet ended up being a favorite. I am forever grateful he ended up in my life and I can more grateful Natalie saw what I did in him and become his mom continuing to allow me to train him. We had so much fun together as a family. As hard as it is to see your stall empty I know you are free of pain and enjoying life on the other side with your other buddies. Please don’t chase Indie to much as I know that was a favorite of yours when she was chasing the sprinklers. Until we meet again sweet boy.
Thank you to everyone that helped when Papi needed it most. West Coast Equine for trying your best. Martine, Ali, and Jennie for taking care of him until he was on the trailer. Frank for getting him there safely and focusing on him even when some idiot couldn’t see the back of a trailer!
