At our professional studio for martial arts in Glendale, AZ, we are the country's largest martial arts organization with a wide variety of classes and tournaments for all ages and skill levels. ts can improve their fitness while building their confidence at the same time. All of our instructors are background checked, are 6th-degree black belts or higher, and have passed an intensive certification program.

Welcome back, Mr. Paul Green!

We are excited to have Mr. Paul Green, 5th Degree Black Belt, back on the mat and training with us once again!

Paul began his martial arts journey as a young student in February 2008. Through years of dedication, perseverance, and hard work, he earned the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt and became an outstanding example of what can be achieved through consistent training and a never-give-up attitude.

It's always special to see former students return to continue their martial arts journey. Mr. Green's commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning embodies the spirit of Taekwondo.

🎓🥋 Congratulations, Everett Henson! 🥋🎓

From earning success on the mat to achieving excellence in the classroom, Everett Henson has demonstrated what can happen when discipline, perseverance, and leadership come together.

We are incredibly proud of Everett for being selected to deliver the Farewell Address for the International Baccalaureate Program at Barry Goldwater High School—an honor that reflects not only his academic achievements, but also the character and leadership he has displayed throughout the years.

A longtime martial artist and leader, Everett has consistently set the example for others through his work ethic, humility, and dedication. This fall, he will continue his journey at Arizona State University, where he plans to study Landscape Architecture.

We are especially humbled by the kind words shared by his parents:

"Thank you for the important role you played in Everett's education. His success in high school—academically and in personal relationships—owes a lot to your Leadership Program, and we are grateful. He delivered the farewell address at his graduation and did us all proud."

Research from Harvard Grant Study that begin in 1938 to today continues to show that children who regularly help at home develop important life skills that help them succeed in school, relationships, and eventually their careers.

Small tasks create BIG lessons:

✔ Attention to Detail
✔ Perseverance
✔ Leadership

When children learn that they are part of a team at home, they begin to understand that their actions matter. Finishing the dishes, folding laundry, or helping clean up teaches accountability and follow-through.

From white belt beginning at just 6 years old to becoming a 2° Black Belt and college graduate — what an incredible journey for Mr. Jeremy Dreher! 🎓🥋

Jeremy has grown up at Keene's ATA Martial Arts, spending years in our Leadership and Instructor Program where he developed much more than martial arts skills. Through teaching, mentoring, and leading others, he learned the importance of confidence, communication, and character — learning how to look people in the eye, speak directly with others, and build meaningful personal connections.

Leadership isn’t only about being in front of a class; it’s about who you become along the way. Jeremy learned how to lead both on and off the mat, setting an example through dedication, respect, and perseverance.

Watching him grow from a young student into the accomplished young man he is today has been an honor. Congratulations, Mr. Jeremy Dreher! Your Keene's ATA family is proud of everything you've achieved and excited to see where your next chapter takes you! 👏🔥

As we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, Keene’s ATA Martial Arts will be closed Friday through Monday, May 22–25.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26.
