When I started putting this website together the first iterations were data tables like you see on the back of a baseball card. Besides the fact that this has been done before on many other websites, it's a bit boring. I started down a path of aggregating the player's yearly stats into career stats and then adding comparisons to MLB player career averages and 162 game averages....

After a little hiatus some good news, 2020 major league baseball statistics have been added to the database! As of now the data here is updated to the end of the 2020 season. I guess if anyone cares I can write a blog about the update process but in short it was importing CSVs, running stored procedures, and fixing a large number of things that broke....
