TRAIN WITH PURPOSE 🥋
There is a vast difference between simply showing up to attend class and truly using your time on the mats to improve.
Before every class, give yourself a clear objective to focus on—maintaining better posture when guard passing, controlling a particular position, honing a technique you’ve been working on, etc.
You may not perfectly execute everytime, and that’s absolutely acceptable. The real victory is gathering the data from the “failed” attempts. That’s where the real learning and growth comes from.
When every round has a purpose, even your mistakes become productive. Over time, these small and deliberate improvements will accumulate to something much greater.
Come to class. Pick your focus. Train with intention.
See you on the mats.
