Last week with Playdate Sports and Fitness we did the Olympic Torch Relay! We started by holding our torches up high and starting the Olympic Games by running around the world! Then we learned how to be part of a relay team and hand off a baton! We practice our sprinting and stopping! Our little friends worked on their fine motor skills by gathering cones and stacking them together as quickly as they could! Lastly, we learned a little about the fruits and vegetables that will make us strong enough to compete in the Olympics!

Pirate games! We had a lot of fun doing the shuttle run. The kids had to run out collect their pirate gold and bring it back to the treasure chest/ their spot. This works on agility, speed, and acceleration! They also had to walk the plank “matey”! They learned to put their arms out for balance. Last they threw our pirate bouncy balls at the pirate flag. This helped teach them out to target and be aware of their surrounding (not run into friends)! It was a fun week talking like pirates!

Last week with Playdate Sports and Fitness we had a super stunts obstacle course! We started with a stretch band warm up then used toddler stones, dome cones, hurdles, tunnels, and squeaky pads to create our awesome obstacle course! Our obstacle course was designed to work on balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and of course having fun!
