After the range local in our area sold out, these friends came to Mike and I and said we had the best site for a sporting clays course. Well over 25 years later, hobby, love of the sport and old and new friends, this Mom and Pop club is still here. We are located in Glen Rose, Texas on our home property. With the help from our family and close friends, we host an average of 8 NSCA Shooting events
each year. For the past year we have been open to the public full time. With the rolling terrain, trees, creek we have a unique setting for throwing targets that the recreational shooter through the “Hard Core” shooter can come and enjoy. There two separate 100 targets courses for any type of shooter to enjoy, along with a 5 Stand. Hours of Operation: Lone Star is open to the public for walk-ins Wednesday through Friday from 9:00am to dusk. We also are open by appointment Saturday through Tuesday; Range Appointments must be confirmed via phone 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
