The Glen Ridge Athletic Association (GRAA) Board is seeking new members!
The GRAA is an organization that manages 12 sports, over 400 volunteers, and 85% of Glen Ridge students in grades K-8. As you can imagine, running something like this requires commitment, collaboration, and hands-on effort.
The GRAA Board is a “working board,” meaning that beyond our monthly 2.5-hour board meetings (usually the first Tuesday night of each month), each member takes on individual responsibilities and tackles ad hoc tasks as they arise. In addition, Board members serve as liaisons to specific GRAA sports, acting as navigators of the organization, single points of contact, and advocates to the Board.
Once we evaluate expressions of interest and skill sets, we will interview candidates and make selections. The exact responsibilities and titles of the positions will depend on the Board’s needs, the individuals who apply, and their availability.
