π Twas the Night Before Recital π
βTwas the night before recital, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The costumes were hung in the closet with care,
In hopes that recital time soon would be there.
The dancers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of perfect performances danced in their heads.
Their tights and their shoes were all laid out just right,
Ready to sparkle under the stage lights so bright.
Theyβd practiced for months and worked hard every day,
Learning their dances and finding their way.
Tomorrow theyβll smile and give it their all,
From the tiniest dancers to those standing tall.
So sleep little dancer, your big day is near,
Step on that stage with confidence, not fear.
For the joy of the dance is what matters most of all,
Now Merry Recital to all, and to all a great show!
