In 1969 my father (then 22) sat in the stands of Shea Stadium with his father Robert Miller to watch the Jets win the AFC Championship before winning the Superbowl in their next game.
Today was the first live Jets game I've ever attended with my Dad. It was an honor as today is the 4 year anniversary of my Grandfather's passing ❤🙏
My Grandfather was a great man. I believe he was there in spirit with us today.
This is a message to the NY Jets franchise...

I want to attend an AFC Championship with my Dad one day as he did with his.
I want to sit in attendance live with him and watch the Jets WIN and then go to a Superbowl...and then we will attend that too.
We need some help though.
1969 was over 50 years ago!!
That's TOO damn long 😒 😑
When it skips generations between Superbowl appearances its WAY too long...and it's overdue.
We don't need more than one. We're not looking to be greedy like those New England people or anything...just 1, that's all I ask. 🙏

I tried almost daily for a year to write something about 9/11...but I just couldn't do it. Every time I sat down to write my mind would go blank.
Being from NY we all knew someone who died that day. Members of my gym, my neighbor and countless friends who lost family that day. It was such a crazy moment in time that was only magnified for those hit personally from this tragedy in NY.
On the 1 year anniversary my alarm clock went of...I had it set to 1010 Wins...the main radio news channel for NY. I heard them announce that at 8:46 AM they would start announcing the names of the 2801 souls who were lost one year ago on this historic and tragic day.
Somehow with that message I decided ro write my piece on 9/11.
Since then that 2801 number has diminished. I saw its under 2700 now...I guess some people assumed missing were found. But on this day 2801 was the number.
This was my poem...we must learn how to love and how NOT to hate. 🙏
May God bless those souls lost on this day and in the days since in the struggle for peace and unity in our world.
God bless America 🇺🇲
