The High Rolling Trios will be happening at Greenway Bowl on Monday nights this summer-start date TBD.

Even better news!

Our friend, and yours Buff Love will be putting his secretary skills to work for this league. (Thank you Jeff!)

Prize money!

The first place prize money will be $125 for each team registered at the start of the season. So…if all 40 lanes are full, the first place team could win $5,000 !
Remaining teams will win monies based on a league approved prize list.

A message from Bowl America Glen Burnie.

As I am sure most of you have already heard, it was announced this morning in a press release that the Bowlero Corporation is in the process of purchasing the 17 current Bowl America Centers in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.
I know the Facebook chats have been going crazy with questions, speculation, and lots of other gossip - so I wanted to get the facts (as they are today) out as soon as possible.

I personally had been asked about this many, many times during the recent weeks. I was not aware of this at all, nor would I have expected to be told about this beforehand. There are laws against discussing the sale/merger of 2 publicly owned companies- to prohibit insider trading! Remember Martha Stewart!

I was as surprised as most of you were. We were instructed to continue doing business as we currently are, and that is exactly what I plan to do.

What does this mean to our customers? Our summer leagues will continue to come up and, along with our open play customers, will continue to bowl, compete and have fun. Tournaments will continue, special activities will continue, and Winter leagues will go on as planned. There should be little to no disruption to business.

No one really knows what will transpire over the next 6-12 months, so I will not even begin to speculate. But I will tell you what I hope, and truly believe, will happen to Bowl America Glen Burnie. I believe it will get the building and equipment enhancements that have been needed for some time. I believe it will grow and become one of the best bowling centers in the area. AND I believe the great customers that have hung in there with us through the years will get the bowling center they long for and deserve!

I love this Center, I love the employees, and I love the customers that bowl here. I have said this from day one, and I will do whatever I can do to see it succeed. If you have any questions or concerns, please stop by and talk to me. If I do not know the answer, I will check it out and get back to you.

We will be open for additional hours on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st. Our hours for that day will be Noon til 10 PM. Looking for something fun to do indoors with family or friends, stop in and see us!

Another great event tonight at Bowl America Glen Burnie. It was the kick off for the new weekly Nighttime Cash and Color event. We had a small group of bowlers for the first night, but they absolutely had a great time! Everyone had a lot of fun, won some free game coupons, and also won some cash! The bowlers that participated said they are already looking forward to next Thursday to have some more fun.

If you love to bowl, but don’t want to commit to a weekly league this summer, this weekly event could be just what you are looking for. It’s a “drop in” event, no weekly commitment required.

So come and join us every Thursday night at 7:00 PM for the Nighttime Cash and Color. The cost is $22.00 per person. Bring your family and friends so they can join in on the fun! This event is temporary and will end in August!

That’s right, I know it’s hard to believe but all you bowling enthusiasts can bowl from 9 Pm till Midnight every Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday FOR ONLY $7.99 per person/ per game, in plus the cost of rental shoes ($4.84). While we are posting all this great news. We just have to include our winter leagues. We have 4 NEW LEAGUES starting this winter. We also will be working with our league officers on a few events to do some recruiting for new league bowlers. And this is where you can help too. Spread the word. Talk to to your friends and coworkers. Get lazy Uncle Fred and Aunt Gertrude up off the sofa and get them moving. Let's get everyone in on the fun, don't keep it all for yourself. The BAGB Saturday Squad visited more youth bowlers this past Saturday. You can tell it's summertime and the weather is nice because most families are out and about on the weekends. We attempted to visit 12 youth families but only 3 of our youth bowlers were home. Pics are below.

The BAGB Saturday Squad was created during the Covid closure. We started visiting bowlers to make them aware that we missed them and to check on them during the pandemic. Since the center will be opening soon, we will be stopping our Saturday visits. To those we visited. We were so happy to see you and hope our quick visit brought a little sunshine to your day. To those we were not able to visit, just know that our thoughts were with you during the Covid closure and hope you are well.

Within the next day or so, information regarding the opening of BAGB will be posted. We hope to see you all very soon!

The "BA Saturday Squad" and Youth coaches Steve Carter and Marc Dilonardo spent yesterday afternoon visiting some of the Youth Program bowlers. It was great to see "our kids" again. We missed some of you (you must have been out celebrating the weekend), but we left goody bags at your doors. We all know that youth bowlers are the great bowlers of the future and we have some very promising kids with great years of bowling ahead of them currently in our program. Have a great summer kids, and we can't wait to get started again in the fall! We will be visiting more of our youth bowlers this Saturday also, so be on the lookout!
