Attention! This weekend, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Wildlife and Heritage Service is conducting an Advanced Bowhunter Education Class on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no access to the clubhouse this weekend. Any questions please contact Andrew Gray at 410-913-2211. Please note the Howard Hill Range (right of clubhouse) will be closed but the Fred Bear Range (left of clubhouse) will be open.

On August 29 and 30, from 10:00 AM to
3:00 PM, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Safety Education Unit, will be conducting a Free Advanced Bowhunter Education Class at Baltimore Bowmen!

Register before all seats fill up! This was a very popular class last year! There are currently 15 seats available. Please check the registration webpage at the link below.

This comprehensive class will be a HANDS-ON advanced bowhunting class covering: tree stand techniques and safety, whitetail deer anatomy, shot placement, blood trailing, and bowhunting ethics.

A shooting proficiency test is not required but you can bring your archery equipment if you would like to practice or have equipment related questions. The state will have a couple bows and targets available if you haven’t shot a bow before. This class will be taught by IBEP Instructors.

Successful completion of this class is required to hunt in 11 different States, 3 Canadian Provinces, and 11 foreign countries.
