My dad taught me a lot about fishing. Where to look. How to read the water. When to move. When to stay put. But probably the most important thing he taught me was simply to enjoy being on the water.

This boat has seen a lot of Great Lakes water over the years. A lot of fish, a lot of sunrise mornings, and plenty of stories. Awesome morning of fishing with a couple of good friends. , , ,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to stop booking charter fishing trips for the remainder of the 2026 season. Thank you to all of our customers for your support, and we hope to see you again in 2027!

Here are some highlights from a few trips. It's sad to say, the season is winding down for 2025. We are still running charters until September 30th. There are still fish to be caught and fun to be had. Give us a call!

Haven't posted in a while due to weather, wind and the season slowing down. This trip was in Grand Traverse Bay about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Want to let people know we are still fishing. A windy went, cool morning. The fish didn't seem to mind the rain. Cole, Mike, Michael, Jared and Alec did battle with some really nice Kings. Thanks for fishing with Watta Bite Charters.

Part of Michael's crew bailed on him this morning. Their loss! Michael had only fished salmon in the rivers. He said "This was really fun"! We had a good bite of Kings, Coho's and even a nice Steelhead. Capt. Bill finally has his fish for the smoker. Thanks for fishing with Watta Bite Charters. We still have openings for September.

Big Kings and Coho's! A really good bite this morning! Ryan and Brigette were supposed to fish with us last year. The weather messed that up. The crew was rewarded with a great fishing trip this year. Ryan, Austin, Brigette and Andrea thank you for fishing with Watta Bite Charters.

A golf outing and fishing charter Ted's Army they call themselves Labor Day weekend fun. A nice day and a nice catch of Salmon for dinner. Thanks Ted, Mark, John, Lee and Pat for fishing with Watta Bite Charters. Fishing is good and we have openings for September.

Another family first adventure fishing for Salmon. 10 year old boys Oliver and Ben are fishing fanatics. They had some fun fighting some Kings and Cohos. They also like to eat fresh Salmon. Did a 2 boat trip out of Glen Arbor. Kervin, Ryan, James, Micah and Steve had never fished Salmon. Started out fast and furious. Sort of caught the guys off guard. Everybody fell into place and we all had a very nice catch. Thanks for fishing with Watta Bite Charters.
