Glen Allen Youth Athletic Association THE GLEN ALLEN YOUTH ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1965 AND IS AFFILIATED WITH BABE RUTH BASEBALL AND BABE RUTH SOFTBALL ORGANIZATIONS.

WE OFFER BASKETBALL, BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL THE GLEN ALLEN YOUTH ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1965 AND HAS BEEN AFFILIATED WITH BABE RUTH BASEBALL AND BABE RUTH SOFTBALL ORGANIZATIONS FROM THE BEGINNING. AS TIME PROGRESSED, THE ASSOCIATION ADDED BASKETBALL TO IT'S OFFERINGS. THE ASSOCIATION IS A CHARITABLE, VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE DEVELOP

MENT OF SPORTSMANSHIP, ATHLETIC SKILLS AND CHARACTER. WE OFFER PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 4 AND 15 IN BASEBALL, 4 AND 16 IN SOFTBALL, AND 6 AND 18 IN BOYS AND GIRLS BASKETBALL. THE BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PROGRAMS ARE MANAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GUIDELINES SET FORTH BY NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS. THIS ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY SERVES YOUTH OF GLEN ALLEN AND WEST RICHMOND, VIRGINIA BUT HAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDED CHILDREN THROUGHOUT HENRICO COUNTY AND THE CITY OF RICHMOND.

🚨🥎 2026 State Softball All-Star Tournament Volunteers Needed! 🥎🚨

📅 June 25-28, 2026
📍 RF&P Park

Glen Allen will be hosting the 2026 State Softball All-Star Tournament, welcoming teams from across Virginia. We need volunteers to help make this event a success!

Volunteer Opportunities:
• Scoreboard Operation / Scorekeeping
• Lineup Announcing
• Directing Teams & Spectators
• Press Box Runner
• General Tournament Assistance

Volunteer Details:
• 2-hour shifts available
• Scorekeeping shifts cover one 90min game
• Great opportunity for teen volunteer hours

This roster brings together a wealth of experience and success, with players and coaches who have celebrated District Championships, State Tournament victories, and even Regional Tournament appearances throughout their baseball journeys. Their accomplishments on the field are a testament to the culture of excellence and teamwork that continues to thrive within our program.

This talented group is ready to represent Glen Allen Baseball at the All-Star level! After a strong spring season, these players have earned the opportunity to compete against some of the best players across the district.

Led by Manager Tom Lappas and Coach James Fowler, this team brings skill, drive, and a love for the game every time they take the field. We can't wait to watch them create unforgettable plays, make big hits, and proudly wear the Glen Allen colors while collecting RBIs.

This team is ready to represent Glen Allen once again as they take the field this summer! After capturing the 2025 District 3 Championship and making a memorable State Tournament appearance, these players know what it takes to compete at a high level.

Led by the outstanding leadership of Manager Ricky Bradley and their committed coaching staff, this team is built on hard work, determination, and a passion for the game.

These talented young ladies are ready to represent Glen Allen! From countless practices to unforgettable plays, this group has worked hard all season and is excited to showcase their skills, sportsmanship, and girl power on the field.

As we welcome teams from across Virginia to RF&P Park June 25-28, we're proud to have our 10U Softball All-Stars representing our league and community. 🌟

Hosting a state tournament takes an incredible team effort, and we're looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. Whether it's scorekeeping, announcing lineups, assisting teams, or helping in the press box, every volunteer makes a difference.
