Western Riders of Virginia The purpose and aim of Western Riders of Virginia (WRV) is to promote an interest in western horses and western horsemanship among the people in our area.

The goal of WRV is to promote an interest in western horses and western horsemanship among the people in our locality and to promote good citizenship in all members, both young and old. We are located at 14294 Western Riders Lane, Glen Allen, VA. WRV hosts western pleasure classes and speed events.

FUNDRAISER RAFFLE

WRV Members:

Western Riders of Virginia is having a fundraiser to defray the cost of much needed upkeep to the show grounds. Your fundraiser raffle tickets will be available at the May 9th & June 6th shows for pickup. Please do your best to sell all your tickets. Please remember Western Riders is your club and it is in great need of several repairs.

Let’s all pitch in & SELL THOSE TICKETS!!!!!

1st Prize $300; 2nd Prize $200; & 3rd Prize $100.

Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20.00.

The drawing is scheduled for July 11, 2026.

Please return your ticket stubs and money to either Brenda Dodd, Vanessa Evans or Katina Blackstone.

To all who came out to the VCA jackpot tonight at WRV, I want to apologize for our arena conditions. There was an error in the amount of water that we put down and it made the conditions unsafe. We thought we might be able to fix it but that couldn’t happen. I know all that goes into getting home and hauling your horses to a jackpot during the week and not being able to run is frustrating, not to mention the price of fuel these days. Please accept our sincere apology and hope to see you next week.
