This month, we’re recognizing the importance of representation, inclusion, and mental health awareness as we celebrate both Pride Month and Men’s Mental Health Month.

Our fun committee, Aster Aura, helped kick off the celebration by surprising Antonio and Aster Springs team members with special appreciation and self-care items — a reminder that taking care of ourselves and supporting one another matters.

We’ll continue honoring the men on our team throughout the month while celebrating the strength, individuality, and diversity that make our community so special.

Meet Stephanie Hales, LISW, LCSW, VIOP Therapist & Program Coordinator!

Stephanie brings nearly five years of experience supporting individuals with eating disorders, trauma, and co-occurring mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and OCD. Her approach is rooted in compassion, client autonomy, and a commitment to meeting each person where they are in their recovery journey.

Passionate about fat liberation, Health at Every Size principles, and supporting individuals living with chronic pain or illness, Stephanie is dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for healing and growth.

Earlier this month, clinicians from North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Missouri came together in Tennessee for a two-day tour centered on connection, collaboration, and sharing ideas across programs.

It was an honor to tour them around our facility and introduce them to the Aster Springs team. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen relationships across our programs, and continue growing together.
