Everyone has a summer bucket list.

But what about a summer growth list?

This summer, why not:
☀️ Learn...
☀️ Practice...
☀️ Let go of...
☀️ Say yes to...
☀️ Become...

The most meaningful growth often comes from small, intentional choices repeated over time.

What's on your Summer Growth List?

Can you believe we're almost halfway through 2026?

Back in January, I invited people to choose a word for their year, and over 50 of you responded.

Mine was FOCUS.

As I sat down to reflect during my own half-year check-in, I laughed out loud at the irony that I actually had to stop and think about what my word was. (I clearly need more FOCUS!)

But that's the point.

Our words aren't meant to be carried out perfectly every day. They're meant to be companions, something we can return to when we need direction, grounding, or perspective.

As we begin the second half of the year, I challenge you to take a moment to reflect:

✨ What was your word?
✨ How has it shown up in your life?
✨ What has it taught you?
✨ Where might it need a little more attention?

And if you've forgotten your word entirely or you didn't have one, that's okay too. Consider this your invitation to get one or reconnect with it.

I'd love to hear your word in the comments and what it's meant to you so far this year!

Cheers to crushing the back half of 2026.

This quote made me laugh and then made me think.

Some lessons we have to learn firsthand. I've taken leaps, made mistakes, picked myself up, and grown from it. I've made many "must-takes" in my life, and while many of them were gifts, some were horrifying.

One of the greatest gifts we have is the ability to learn from others' experiences.

You don't have to touch every hot stove to know it's hot, and growth doesn't always require learning the hard way.

Working with a mentor or coach can help!

When we hear the word abundance, it's easy to think about having more... more money, more time, more opportunities, more success.

But abundance isn't always about quantity.

Sometimes abundance is realizing you already have enough.

Enough wisdom from the lessons you've learned.
Enough strength to face what's next.
Enough people in your corner.
Enough reasons to be grateful today.

Abundance is a mindset. It's the practice of noticing what is present instead of focusing on what's missing.

What abundance already exists in your life that deserves a little more attention?

This is what a marina looks like before each season begins.

Quiet.
Still.
Uncrowded.

Now these docks are filled with boats, people, plans, and activity.

Sunday evenings offer us a similar gift, a moment of calm between what was and what's coming next. Tomorrow, the week begins, calendars fill, and the pace picks up.

The goal isn't to avoid the busy seasons of life. It's to carry a little of the weekend calm with you as they arrive.

Wishing you a quiet rest of your Sunday and a grounded start to the week ahead!

The truth is, most people are focused on their own lives, challenges, goals, and insecurities. The spotlight we imagine shining on us is often much dimmer than we think.

What might change if you stopped seeking approval and started trusting yourself a little more?

Any Shrinking fans here?

Scars tell a story. They’re evidence that we showed up, took a chance, cared deeply, and kept moving forward when things didn’t go as planned. They remind us that growth often comes with a few bumps and bruises along the way.

Not every scar is something we would have chosen, but many are proof of courage, resilience, and a life more fully lived.

This line closed out the season, and it stuck with me. If you watched, what was your favorite part?

Has anyone ever said this to you?

Instead of getting frustrated when people don't or can't match your pace, recognize that not everyone operates with the same emotional or mental capacity.

High-capacity people often miss this and assume others can hold, process, or move at the same pace.

Recognition changes everything.

It’s not about shrinking yourself, though; it’s about awareness:
• when to pace yourself
• when to adjust expectations
• when to support instead of push
• when to honor what you can carry

This isn’t ego. It’s clarity.

And with clarity comes better results, better leadership, and better self-trust.

What came together wasn’t just a conference; it was a true reflection of dedication, intention, and care. Every detail, every conversation, every moment of connection was made possible because of Meg, Robyn, Marta, and this amazing group of ICF-CT Board members who showed up fully.

I felt especially honored by our President, Marta, and the Board of Directors when I was recognized for my leadership before and during the program, as I was included on the Past President Panel.

Thank you, Megan and Robyn, for your vision and belief in what we set out to create. I am so proud of us for bringing professionalism, kindness, creativity, and connection to our coaching community. TBH, this was the most fun conference I have ever attended, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.

Thank you to everyone (almost 100) who showed up! Also, a shout-out to our keynote speaker, our workshop presenters, and our sponsors. We appreciate you.

Happy to have played a part in the success of the ICF-CT Inaugural Conference!

I am so sad to hear that Dr. Edith Eger has passed away at the age of 98.

Edie, a Holocaust survivor, lived a lifetime of resilience, wisdom, and humanity, and shared it so generously with the world.

Her book, The Choice, is one I’ve bought at least 15 times for clients because its message is that powerful: even after unimaginable hardship, we still have the power to choose how we live, love, and heal.

Her story didn’t just inspire... it changed people. It changed me.

Rest easy, Edie, your memory will forever be a blessing.

You will be missed...
