We can’t wait to welcome you to the Hartford Feis this Sunday, June 7! This post is very long but contains REALLY IMPORTANT INFO so you can have a great day and enjoy the music and dancing!
☘️ STAGES 1, 2, & 5: Located on the field, spectator tents between 1 & 2 and next to 5
☘️ STAGES 3 & 4: Located in the upstairs hall of the Irish American Home. Enter via the doors at the front entrance. NO FOOD, DRINKS, CAMPING in upstairs hall (you’re welcome to camp on the field all day!). Only competitors in competitions on stages 3 & 4 and their families allowed in the upstairs hall due to capacity, enjoy our beautiful field!
☘️ OPEN & PRELIM CHAMPS: Start in heavy shoes and dance two at a time, all age groups
☘️ FOOD: Delicious hot items available all day cooked fresh on the grill! Start your day with pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and more…for lunch there’s Shepherds Pie, burgers, hot dogs & more yumminess
☘️ CASH ONLY: For breakfast, lunch and Irish Goods items. You can buy tickets for food and beverages at the food tent
☘️ PARKING: Available at the Irish American Home Society and at businesses on Commerce St, check our website for addresses www.irishamericanhome.com/Hartford-Feis
☘️ BRING: Competitor Number, Schedule, Cash, Chairs, Pop-up Tent, Sunscreen, Water Bottle, Bug Spray, Blanket (in addition to your dance and music stuff!)-forgot your number? Visit the Secretary’s Tent
☘️ CAMPING: Allowed on the field on the other side of the stages
☘️ FIRST COMPETITIONS OF THE DAY: Stages 1 & 5 can check-in starting at 8:40am, all others after the anthems. Anthems will be at 8:45am
☘️ SODA BREAD, ESSAY, ART COMPETITIONS: Bring your entries to the secretary’s tent by 11am
☘️ STAGE SCHEDULES: There will not be any hard copies available. You can take a picture of ours on the awards board or at the secretary’s tent
☘️ COMPETITOR NUMBERS: Print yours off of feisweb. Login to your account, click on the Hartford Feis, click on Number Card Menu, then dancer’s name and print
☘️ WEATHER: This is an OUTDOOR FEIS, we dance and make music rain or shine! No dancer will be penalized for wearing black-out (long sleeved black leotard, black skirt). Forecast is looking better! Field may be wet from Saturday night, bring comfy shoes and plastic for underneath blankets & bags just in case
☘️ PHOTOGRAPHY/RECORDING OF COMPETITORS: Not allowed except for Pre-Beginner, Beginner and Advanced Beginner competitions
☘️ SOCIAL MEDIA: All announcements and results will be posted to the Hartford Feis 2026 page and on Instagram
☘️ FIRST AID: At the secretary’s tent
☘️ AWARDS: Grades awards can be picked up in the Irish American Home building in the downstairs lounge. Champ awards will be under the tent next to the secretary’s tent and marks will be given out
☘️ ENJOY! Be sure to check out our lovely pub and have a delicious breakfast and/or lunch cooked by our fabulous volunteers, visit all the vendors and get a professional photo taken!
