1/6/18 Two possible sightings.
I was walking the logging road into the woods going to my ground blind. I had taken this rout to keep the wind to my right and keep my scent from blowing over the deer bedding area. The temperature was at 2 degrees with a -5 windchill. I was carrying my bow and 30 lbs of corn I didn't need a flashlight because of the full moon I was able to see ( this was between 5:30-5:45am). I noticed something large at the end of the road on a hill and thought it looked very out of place. I laid my bow down to fix the bag of corn I was carrying. When I looked up the large object was gone. I didn't focus on this to much as I wanted to get to my blind as quickly and quietly as possible. At 6:04 I got to my blind and emptied the corn onto the ground. I was excited because with the cold weather deer would have to be moving to stay warm and as cold as the ground was anything that moved I would hear it.
I set my new camera and tripod up so I could have enough room to pull my bow but still get a great video. I had the camera turned off to conserve battery because I wanted to stay the entire day. Around 6:30 am give or take a few minutes I was watching two raccoons eating the corn along with some birds. An extremely loud knock came from in front of my blind and the animal's at the corn all scattered. I reached to turn on my camera and knocking it over to the ground while trying to keep looking in the direction of the knock. I seen something move than step in between some trees and turn to look in my direction. I frantically tried to get my camera up before it left unfortunately it turned and went to the thicket.
After this I got my camera turned on and focused on my corn pile and throughout the next hour I could hear multiple knocks and something moving in the thicket behind my blind. Unfortunately the camera died about 20 minutes in. At 7:30 I left unable to take the cold any longer.
