🌹Bella
Friesian/Saddlebred (Georgian Grande) Mare, standing 16 hands. Registered Friesian Sport Horse. Goes walk, trot, canter in the arena or in the field. She can sit for a few weeks and is fine. Smart horse and enjoys trail rides. Very sweet, bottom of the herd. Still a bit green, and can be forward thinking so not for a timid/nervous rider. I got her as a resale horse at 2yo and liked her so much kept her. She has had every winter off and every time I get her going life has other plans and she sits for a month or longer. When she is going my well I have schooled leg-yields, shoulder-in, haunches- in, half pass. She has sat for 2 months and I’m sending her to a friend to show in December. This is a hard decision, but family first.

Excellent ground manners, good for farrier/vet, has trailered a few times with no issues. Great hooves, currently barefoot. No injuries. Brave on the trail, and super smart!! Asking nine carrots.

8 year old Clydesdale x QH gelding standing 16 hands. Strawberry roan bay. He has 3 very nice gaits, an easy to collect canter, and a willing attitude. Rides off the seat well. He can be forward thinking, a confident advanced beginner working with a trainer or intermediate rider with experience bringing along a green horse would be best to continue in Dressage. He would make a fun event or hunt horse!

Cinch is a lovable guy who rode Western as a bronc pick up horse, lots of trail miles, and has touched on a bit of Dressage. He is still learning the idea of contact so a rider with soft hands and that understands how to use their body to regulate speed would be a good fit. Was ridden in a short shank curb previously and is going well in a French link snaffle.

Loads and travels in the trailer great. Has had front shoes but doesn’t need them. Has a scar on hind right fetlock but it doesn’t bother him. Good ground manners.

Schooling 3rd level with green changes!

Lincoln is a 2016 KWPN Gelding standing 16.3+ hands. This beautiful boy has a fun goofball of a personality. Natural ability for Piaffe/passage. He has the talent to excel at the upper levels. Ready to show 2nd level and schooling 3rd including flying change. Does well with in hand work including half steps and cavaletti. Did a couple schooling shows as a 5 year old and attended clinics. Owner did not have time the following year to travel. Perfect horse for a confident rider that enjoys hotter horses, such as young professional or serious adult amateur in a program.

Has been on several trail rides with others and alone. Played in ponds, ridden in open field etc, and hacks around the farm. He has a wonderful work ethic. I have a three year old son and do not have the time or resources this guy deserves. It’s just that time in my life where family comes first and the strain of juggling everything was too much. X-rays available. More video available. ColonistxPatijn

Some horses need more time than others. Some need time to grow in maturity, body, and confidence. Some take longer to consistently respond to your aids every time. This boy has already taught me so much as a rider but also a horseman. When I got him at the age of 3 I had all sorts of plans and timelines. Of course my pregnancy and COVID impacted all of that, but Lincoln is a horse that I had to realize the long-term goal is far more important than my short-term timeline. He is one firey hot tamales, but a lovable goofball. His body is slowly changing and the foundation is being laid.

Thank you Gina Laakso for the beautiful photos.
